As part of our fractional CFO practice, I become the point person for any M&A, business combination, and investigation of opportunity and due diligence efforts. I become the go-to person for all information that you want to disclose in the data room and lead the process for you. I help you design an integration plan for duties, financial systems, controls, and processes and help make sure that the discipline is in place to realize synergistic savings planned as part of a business combination. I make sure that the details that make your value stand out are in place and are represented in concrete terms on your financial statements and disclosures.
Turnaround Management/Restructures
Business challenges that seem insurmountable emerge and the need for turnaround and restructure services are an example of that. If you find your business results failing to show any improvement and the stall could prove too overwhelming; I have experience in corporate turnarounds and restructure work that can scale from medium size companies up and down the spectrum. It often begins with getting a handle on cash risks and charting a 13-week cash flow forecast for you to get your business mojo back. This requires a steady hand and no pulled punches. Often it helps to have someone leading this effort that is not engaged in the day-to-day emotions when the going gets tough and you have to make decisions that may not be popular.
